Research Scientist (f/m/x)

• End-to-End New Product Development: Formulate innovative products across multiple categories such as skin & haircare, pet care, home and garden to solve consumer needs and support the creation of distinctive brands from the ground up.

• Consumer & Sensory Insight: Plan, execute, and evaluate blind studies and performance assessments to ensure product excellence.

• Analyze the outcomes of your developments and continuously improve processes and formulations to enhance product effectiveness and establish Vivere as a leading consumer product manufacturer.

• Stay at the forefront of market trends in beauty, pet care, wellness, and gardening sectors through continuous market assessment.

• Extend scientific and technical support throughout the value chain, encompassing compliance, procurement, scaling, and marketing.

• Serve as a bridge between external stakeholders and internal product development teams.

• Exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset to streamline workflows through enhanced efficiency and automation.

• Manage multiple projects effectively, exhibiting independent work capability while prioritizing tasks.

• Strong academic record in chemistry, cosmetic sciences, life sciences, engineering, or related fields.

• High interest to excel in broad formulation spectrum across multiple categories and enjoy curating new products. 

• A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on formulation experience, preferably in FMCG industry, home & hygiene, petcare, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals or OTC product development.

• Advanced grasp of scientific principles in biology/microbiology and chemistry, with a solid comprehension of their application in manufacturing processes.

• Proficiency in utilizing and operating a diverse range of laboratory equipment and analytical devices.

• Familiarity with R&D cross-functional tasks  such as QRegulatory, Quality Control,  and Materials Management, along with the being a team player to collaborate with cross-functional teams 

• Demonstrated eagerness to rapidly acquire new knowledge and progress within the role, actively taking on responsibilities from the outset.

• Evident contribution to laboratory operations through meticulous daily work, consistently striving for excellence.

• Fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Assume significant responsibilities right from your first day in a dynamic and rapidly evolving consumer start-up environment.
